  This cabinet installer was contracted to install my cabinets purchased through Lowe's. The initial installation/hanging was quick and precise, so I was mostly pleased. The home in which the cabinets were being hung is well over 100 years old, so everything was out of square, but tons of shims made it look good. One critique of the installation was using headless pins to secure a cabinet to a brace adjacent to the tight tolerance stove opening, which pulled right through immediately. I reinforced that myself with screws and it held. There were failures of communication between Bryan, Lowe's and I, resulting in delays in obtaining materials to complete the job, but once the materials were available, it took weeks of unreturned calls and messages, and eventually an angry visit to Lowe's to get someone to return to complete the finish work on the cabinets. When someone returned, the finish work was shoddy, the materials cheap, with visible rough edges, gaps between cabinet and floor, partially covered toe kick... When I complained about this, Bryan returned to polish the job up, and did improve the appearance, but still left the toe kick short due to being short on materials. I had previously spoken with Lowe's and Bryan about the need for a sheet of veneer to complete the job, but that never arrived. I have since decided to stop dealing with both Lowe's and I & E and complete the remaining work myself. 3+ months to complete a projected 6 week project. After spending $10,000, I expected more.
